Since 1964, The Community Scholarship Foundation has been an integral part of our community, and is happy to report that nearly $1,000,000 in scholarships has been awarded to local youth pursuing education beyond high school.

By supporting CSF, you join us in the tradition of our mission statement to support local high school graduating seniors on their journey to becoming the citizens and leaders of tomorrow.

We appreciate your consideration and hope you are able to participate, whether with a general donation or through our Legacy Scholarships.

Donations are accepted via first class mail or via the Donate button below. Either way, you will be able to designate your preferred way of giving.

Legacy Scholarships

Don and Jo Seastrom Legacy Scholarship

The scholarship was established by the Seastrom Family. Don and Jo Seastrom were long-time volunteers in the Foothill community of La Cañada Flintridge. They believed a well-rounded education consisted of three equally important components: book learning, survival and recreational skills and social/people skills. This scholarship will be awarded to a student interested in a career in manufacturing or electrical engineering, or learning a vocational skill (tool and die maker, machinist, or draftsperson).

Lt. Todd Bryant Legacy Scholarship

This scholarship was implemented by Todd’s parents, Larry and Linda. Todd graduated La Cañada High School, attended West Point, and served in Iraq where he paid the ultimate sacrifice to our country. Todd enjoyed band, golf, football and photography. This scholarship will be awarded to a student interested in serving their country, or shares Todd’s interests.
